the rules of work... and life

i don't even have the strength to move my facial muscles to put on a smile right now.
or rather, i just don't have the mood to do so.

wanted to whine about my sian-est week here but something is holding me back. afterall, life goes on. i'm trying to be a better person. and i hope i'm on the right track. keeping my faith, i strive towards a brighter future. i really wish i can.

a boost in health is essential to me now. maybe good stress management and positive thinking help. pity my brainy. i should reward her with more leave allowance.

now that i armed with the book bro recommended and the power of communication, i shall fight bravely in the war of survival.

busy bumble bee

This whole week was packed with lotsa fun-filled activities!

The week kicked off with my first blading session with him. thats the best sunday ever! after sweat and pain, we rewarded ourselves with a feast at chompchomp!

Then, it was great company and great beer. lunch @ brewerkz is a must-try as it serves jeepjeep beer and dinosaur-sized dishes. i guarantee you that you will walk out of brewerkz with a tummy.

Dinner at Davina's house is another worth mentioned meal. auntie's cooking is fantastic! bahkuteh+steamfish+bittergound+tomatowithspicytuna! thanks auntie! hmm... maybe i should pick up cooking.......

Yunwen invited us to her 21st birthday bash at NSRCC. i must say, the sashimi is DAMN SHIOK! theme of the partieh was oriental. best dressed goes to a guy in communist uniform. hmmm....

Happy Birthday, Yunie!

sent Jinxy Honey off on saturday to USA for work and travel. xy square will miss you! dont forget our coach bagsssssssssss. hahahaha.

p.s. cafe & wired to win

a pleasant surprise.
despite the limited choices of main courses and the dunnoe-wat-she-talking-waitress,
the place looks mysteriously romantic on the outside and the dining experience was refreshing.

the cafe's washroom is irresistably chio!
TCC @ holland village.
damn shiok! we practically had the whole 'private' area to ourselves!
comfy red cushion seats and yummylicious coffee~ what more can we ask for!

Singapore Discovery Centre.
A new dating spot for couples. haha.
went to catch Wired to Win at iWerks. one word for the movie - "Waaaaaa..."
truly inspiring.
Lastly,

=D

a & e

just when i thought i could smile and say goodbye to april...

it was 2plus am. and i was heading to bed. then i heard some heavy vomitting coming from the kitchen's toilet. to my horror, i saw spats of blood on the floor (apart from the vomit). the next thing i knew was my whole family were rushing to get ready to send my brother to the doctor.

doc suspected a tear in oesophagus. unsure with the severity, he referred him to hosptital.
it's my first time to a&e (i hope it's my last). accompanied my bro for the registration and doc checkup. the whole waiting period was frightening. he kept complaining he was breathless. seeing him in pain scare the whole hell out of me. and yet i had to remain calm and stay by him. he was admitted for monitoring purposes and thank god for answering to our prayers, he recovered from that damn food poisoning.

thanks for accompanying me thru sms and phonecalls. they made a difference :)

guys, cherish your loved ones at all times ya.
